The YELDA Series is a platform where young people of African origin across the globe engage in discussions on Africa’s development in all facets of the continent’s life spanning; governance and politics, international trade and commerce, food security, economic development , press freedom, international relations and diplomacy, security and conflict etc.- to have broader conversations about key matters in these areas, propose sustainable solutions to the ever increasing challenges of Africa and the African Union (as an institution), from a global perspective; build enduring strategic partnerships among African states to encourage direct and indirect economic cooperation and collaborations at all levels;  and advocate for increased youth participation in governance, social and economic conversations and decision making across the continent. The Summit is held once every month in a selected African city, with participants drawn from varying professional backgrounds sharing ideas and offering viable alternatives to critical policy initiatives and programs of governments and multilateral organizations across the continent of Africa.
